St. Michael's House

St Michael's House believes that people with a disability have equal and inalienable rights of dignity and freedom.

These rights include equality of opportunities, full participation as equal members of society and the right to be treated with the same respect and dignity as other members of our society.

Mission Statement:
St Michael's House is committed to providing an environment where people with learning difficulties will be educated, will work and participate in leisure activities in community settings and will enjoy experiences, opportunities and lifestyle similar to their peers.

	Library information

The Learning Resource Centre & Library aims to provide an information service to the staff and students of St. Michael’s House and to the service users and their families. St. Michael’s House is a learning organization and is committed to providing staff with access to information on best practice in their field. We intend that the Learning Resource Centre will continue to reflect new services developments and to facilitate research and professional development.

Opening Hours:
Monday – Friday:
10.00-1.00 and 2.00-5.00

Wednesday:
10.00-1.00 and 2.00-6.00

Summer Opening Hours: July and August
Monday - Thursday 10.00 - 1.00 and 2.00-5.00
Library Summer Closure (2 weeks)
From Monday 11th August - Friday 22 August 2008 inclusive
Reopening Monday 25th August 2008
